Читатели блога, всем привет! Приветствую Вас из Беларуси. "МАНЯЩАЯ ТУРЦИЯ" из Беларуси? Именно так. В настоящее время, когда на учёбе у меня начались каникулы, я нахожусь в родной Беларуси. Так что, привет из Восточной Европы! Только представьте себе, конец марта... и вместо ожидаемой весны сегодня шёл снег. Но я изо всех сил пытаюсь абстрагироваться, тем более что в моём фотоархиве есть более тысячи снимков из тёплой и чудесной страны, Турции! Итак, сегодня мы направляемся в Турцию. Страну под алым флагом.

Hello my dear blog readers! Greetings from Belarus. "CAPTIVATING TURKEY" from Belarus? Exactly. My Easter break started at the present time, so I came back to my home country - Belarus. That is why, greetings from Eastern Europe! Just imagine, the end of March... and instead of the expected spring it was snowing today. But I am struggling to ignore it, especially for the reason in my photo archive there are more than a thousand pictures from a warm and wonderful country, Turkey! So today we are going to Turkey. The country under the scarlet flag.

Каждый из нас обладает определённым стилем одежды, своими предпочтениями; а каждая страна, какой бы она не была, имеет свой собственный флаг. А каждый флаг имеет свою историю. Красный турецкий флаг с полумесяцем и звездой, в том виде, в котором он знаком нам сегодня, также менялся со временем. Бытует легенда, что турецкий султан, воевавший с Египтом, во время продолжительной войны, принесшей много потерь, увидел знак. Султан, в луже крови увидел отражение звезды и полумесяца. Однако сам флаг не всегда был выкрашен в пламенящий алый цвет, он был и белым, и зелёным. Пятиконечная белая звезда успела побывать и семиконечной, и восьмиконечной. А вот полумесяц - известный символ в странах с мусульманской культурой. Турция. Манящая и пленительная, такая контрастная, сочетающая в себе множество противоположностей. Самая восточная страна Европы и самая европейская страна среди носителей мусульманской культуры.

Each of us has a certain style of clothing, our own preferences; and every country, whatever it may be, has its own flag. And each flag has its own history. A red Turkish flag with a crescent and star, in the form in which it is familiar to us today also changed over the time. Some people believe that the Turkish sultan, who fought with Egypt, during the long war that brought a lot of losses, saw the sign. In a puddle of blood the sultan saw the reflection of the star and crescent. However, the flag was not always painted burning scarlet colour, it was white, and green at times. The five-pointed white star had time to be seven pointed and octagonal. But crescent is a well known symbol in countries with Muslim culture. Turkey. Turkey is alluring and captivating, it is so contrasting, combining a number of opposites. The most eastern country in Europe, and most European country among the countries with Muslim culture.

В серии коротких статей-очерков мы будем знакомиться со Стамбулом, прекрасной столицей Турции. И поскольку в эту поездку я отправилась без своего фотографа, то сразу хочу поблагодарить за снимки мою подружку из Франции. Ирэн, спасибо за фотографии и за приятную компанию. В первой статье из предстоящей серии мы отправимся взглянуть на Голубую Мечеть, как снаружи, так и изнутри. А после проследуем к Египетскому рынку и посмотрим на самые популярные товары, представленные в нем.

In a series of short articles, essays, we will get acquainted with Istanbul, the beautiful capital of Turkey. In the first article of the upcoming series we are going to look at the Blue Mosque, both outside and inside. And after the Blue Mosque we will go to the Egyptian market and look at the most popular products displayed in it.

Голубая мечеть. Голубая мечеть, расположенная вблизи берегов Мраморного моря строилась на протяжении семи лет. Она также известна как мечеть Султана Ахмета; известна, как символ Стамбула и самой Турции, невероятно красива и впечатляюща. Строительство Голубой мечети представляло собой не только достаточно долгий процесс, но и тщательно, до мелочей продуманный.

Blue Mosque. The Blue Mosque, located near the banks of the Sea of Marmara was built over seven years. It is also known as the Mosque of Sultan Ahmet; known as the symbol of Istanbul and Turkey itself, is incredibly beautiful and impressive. Construction of the Blue Mosque was not only a long process, but carefully thought out to the smallest details.

Once the place for construction was chosen, over 20,000 ceramic tiles were supplied, hundreds of silk carpets were woven by local weavers. Hundreds of lamps were brought from other countries, as well as the glass used in the design of stained glass, also imported from Byzantium. At the present moment the decoration of the mosque looks slightly in a different way, not all elements of the decor and furnishings was saved.

Как бы то ни было, Голубая мечеть впечатляет и поражает туристов со всего мира уже на подступи к самому творению. Подойдя поближе к прекрасному сооружению Вы будете окончательно покорены шестью минаретами, огромным куполом диаметром более 23 метров, и малыми куполами словно обрамляющими первый. Купола, массивные колонны... продвигаемся дальше. Кстати, туристы могут попасть внутрь мечети в свободное от молитвенного ритуала время, а в ожидании этого времени можно пройтись вокруг мечети.

Whatever it was, the Blue Mosque impresses and amazes tourists from around the world already at the approaching to the creation itself. Here is the Egyptian market, the second largest market in Istanbul, after the Grand Bazaar. It was built in the year 1660 and its activities provided the construction of some mosque.

Today the market performs its main function, and also is a kind of tourist attraction. Egyptian market, which is called this way because of the fact that the goods were quite often delivered from Egypt, suffered two fires.

After that it acquired a modern look. It has 80 shops offering a range of goods of the different groups.

This is the sweetest and most delicious Turkish delights.

This is the variety of souvenirs and other gifts.

Тапочки и другая обувь, прямо как из сказок про Алладина. Это множество яркой и своеобразной бижутерии. Просто глаза разбегаются.

Slippers and other shoes, just like from the fairy tales about Aladdin. This is a wide range of bright and original jewellery. It looks so amazing.

Сухофрукты, такие яркие и такие манящие.

Dried fruits, they are so bright and look so yumm.

Чаи и пряности, ароматные и яркие. Покидаем рынок, выходя через одни из шести ворот, и снова выходим на улицы Стамбула.

Tea and spices, fragrant and bright. We are leaving the market, going through one of the six gates, and again walking down the streets of Istanbul.

Город прекрасен и в дневное, и в ночное время. Утром он динамичен, богат на яркие краски, пестрит сувенирами, сияет в солнечном свете. В ночное время он серебрится и золотится в мерцании горящих фонарей. Стамбул прекрасен.

The city is beautiful both in the daytime and at night. In the morning, it is dynamic, rich in bright colours, with lots of souvenirs, shining in the sunlight. At night it silver and gold in the blink of the street lights. Istanbul is beautiful.

И, оказавшись в городе впервые, наверное, одной из самых лучших идей станет сесть на туристический автобус и взглянуть с высоты второго этажа на все достопримечательности города.

Being in the city for the first time probably one of the best ideas will be to take a tourist bus and look from the height of the second floor to all the attractions of the city.
