Привет из Великобритании, привет сразу из двух городов: Бирмингема и Ливерпуля. Находясь в Бирмингеме и публикуя эту статью, я всё ещё вспоминаю каждую минутку нашего пребывания в Ливерпуле. Прочувствуйте их вместе со мной в продолжении нашей поездки в Ливерпуль. На чём мы остановились в прошлый раз?

Hello my fashionistas, travel lovers, constant readers of the blog and those who opened it for the first time today. Hello everyone! Greetings from the United Kingdom, greetings from two cities at once: Birmingham and Liverpool. While being in Birmingham and publishing this article, I still remember every minute of our journey to Liverpool. Feel them with me in the continuation of our trip to Liverpool. What was the place we left off last time?



В прошлый раз я расставалась с Вами, словно находясь в уютном и атмосферном кафе “BeatlesStory”, что находится в окрестностях Albert Dock. Возвращаемся на то же место, ведь оторваться от него я никак не могу) И вот мы снова на набережной реки Мерси, а за моей спиной (как Вы можете помнить это из предыдущей публикации) находится колесо обозрения, это, конечно, не London Eye, но всё же!
The last time I parted with you when staying in a cosy and atmospheric cafe "BeatlesStory", which is situated in the surroundings of Albert Dock. We come back to the same place, because it is almost impossible to go away from it) And we are again on the embankment of the River Mersey, and behind my back (as you may remember it from a previous publication) is a Ferris wheel, it is certainly not the London Eye, but still!



Вид на город с высоты птичьего полёта обеспечен. Ливерпульское колесо обозрения, примерно в два раза меньшее, чем Лондонское, уж очень похоже на то самое, что буквально на днях установили и в Бирмингеме. Не удержалась и рассказала Вам. Бирмингем в качестве одного из Рождественских подарков получил своё колесо обозрения, прекрасный каток и, конечно же, German Market. Но на этом мне лучше остановиться, ведь куда лучше не только читать о прекрасных местах, но и созерцать их. Поэтому все прекрасные преображения Бирмингема мы непременно увидим, но чуть позднее.

The view of the city from a bird's flight is provided. Liverpool Eye is about twice smaller than London Eye, and is very similar to that one that was placed in Birmingham last days. I could not resist and told you about it.
Birmingham received its Ferris wheel as one of the Christmas gifts, along with beautiful rink and, of course, German Market. But talking about these things I would better stop, because it is much better not only to read about beautiful places, but also contemplate them. Therefore, we will certainly see all the wonderful transformations of Birmingham, but a little bit later.


Первое упоминание о городе Ливерпуле датируется 1190 годом, а это значит более 800 лет на берегах реки Мерси, где достаточно холодно и ветренно, особенно осенью. Поэтому поверх коричневой куртки от “F&F” я поскорее завязала этот лёгкий, но всё же удивительно тёплый шарф. Во всём многообразии шарфов и шейных платков, которые есть в моей модной коллекции, порой теряются названия брендов и забывается, как и откуда он попал в мой гардероб. Но есть одна вещь, которую я знаю, точнее даже чувствую, с уверенностью: этот серый шарфик, декорированный принтом в серебристый горошек, идеально комбинируется с сегодняшней блузкой.

The first mention of the Liverpool city dates back to the 1190 year, which means more than 800 years on the banks of the River Mersey, where the weather is rather cold and windy, especially in the fall. Therefore, on top of a brown jacket from "F&F" I quickly tied the light, but still surprisingly warm scarf.
In all variety of scarves, which are in my fashion collection, brand names are sometimes lost, as well as the way they got in my wardrobe are forgotten. But there is one thing I definitely know, or rather even feel: this gray scarf, decorated with silver polka dots print is ideally combined with today's blouse.



А знаете ли Вы, что в ХIV веке во Франции была специальная профессия, тесно связанная, повязанная шарфом, а вернее с шарфом. Король Людовик, перенявший моду на шарфы от жителей Хорватии (предположительно), создал специальную должность. И должность эта включала в себя такие обязанности как подбор и приобретение шарфов, так и уход за ними. Какое почитание одному единственному предмету одежды! Не меньшее почитание наблюдалось и в Древнем Риме, где данный аксессуар служил показателем социального положения в обществе и носился на талии. От одной крайности к другой – от почитания и предания огромного значения шарфам до полного запрета носить этот аксессуар. Да, мои любители шарфов, палантинов и шейных платков, бывало и такое. Император Павел Первый ввёл запрет на данный аксессуар. Ну а сегодня, когда все запреты позабыты и практически канули в лету, продолжаем модные эксперименты.

And this position included such duties as the selection and purchase of scarves and care of them. Such worship for one single garment!
No less reverence to scarves was observed in ancient Rome, where this accessory served as an indicator of social status in society and was worn at the waist.
From one extreme to another - from the worship and great importance to the total ban to wear on scarves. Yes, my fans of scarves and stoles, sometimes it happens. The Emperor Paul I imposed a ban on wearing this accessory.
But today, when all inhibitions are forgotten and almost sunk into oblivion, we continue to make our fashion experiments.

Да, мы снова возвращаемся за очередной порцией вдохновения в мужской гардероб. Сегодняшняя сумочка почти идентична по цвету с курткой; она легка и компактна, как большинство дамских сумочек; имеет удобную ручку и ремень для ношения через плечо, как прототип из мужской моды. Элемент декора и функциональности одновременно – это металлический элементы золотистого оттенка по нижней части лицевого контура, предающие устойчивости сумочке, а также свою “изюминку” вместе с застежкой-бантиком.

Let’s experiment with a range of stylish handbags, opting for one of them from the brand “Atmosphere”. This little bag resembling men's briefcase is concise and classic. Yes, we are come back for the next portion of inspiration to the men's wardrobe.
Today’s bag is almost identical in colour to the hue of the jacket; it is lightweight and compact, as the majority of women handbags; has a comfortable handle and a belt to be worn over the shoulder, as the prototype from the men's fashion. These metal elements of golden shade on the bottom of the facial contour are decoration and functionality elements at the same time, betraying the stability of the bag, as well as adding it a “flavour” together with a zip-bow.

От пастельных тонов до ярких, почти кричащих расцветок; от лёгких тканей к мягкой замше, классической коже, и к многим другим материалам тянется наша рука при выборе очередной пары. Сегодня я выбрала оксфорды от “Atmosphere” этого роскошного оттенка, словно слившегося воедино с брюками от “H&M”. Эти прекрасные брюки сшиты из уже знакомой нам жаккардовой ткани, выглядят элегантно, удобны и комфортны и сохраняют первозданный вид даже после длительных походов по музеям и прекрасным улочкам Ливерпуля.

Today I chose oxfords from “Atmosphere” brand of this luxurious hue, as if merged together with the colour of “H&M” trousers.
These beautiful trousers are made from the jacquard fabric, which is already familiar to us, and looks elegant, is convenient and comfortable, and retain the original appearance even after long rounds to museums and the beautiful streets of Liverpool.

You have already seen a couple of shots of me in the wonderful Museum of Liverpool, World Museum. Our tour began with it and I was afraid that it will end with it as well.



Невероятно трудно покинуть место, под крышей которого собрано множество самых разноплановых экспозиций, каждая из которых по своему интересна. Мы успели увидеть коллекции редких птиц и насекомых, полезных ископаемых и предметов быта самых различных национальностей, космических кораблей, динозавров. Помимо этого коллекции, связанные с модой: часы и традиционные костюмы народов мира. В добавок к этому изумительные аквариум и планетарий.
It was incredibly hard to leave a place under the roof of which raised a lot of diverse exhibitions, each of which has its own interest.
We had time to see a collection of rare birds and insects, minerals and household items of various nationalities, spaceships, dinosaurs.
Moreover, the collection associated with fashion: watches and traditional costumes of the world. In addition to this there were amazing aquarium and planetarium.



Время летело молниеносно, и нам хотелось всё успеть. Подкрепившись в уютном кафе семейного типа, которое расположено на одном из верхних этажей, мы собрались с силами и мыслями и продолжили путешествие.

Time flew like lightning, and we would like to see as many places as it was possible. We had a break in a cosy cafe of family type, which is located on one of the upper floors, we gathered strength and thoughts and continued the journey.



И пока мы мчались на нашем двухэтажном экскурсионном автобусе, мы успели насладиться видом Ливерпульского Католического собора. Здание украшено своеобразной “короной” из стекла и острых шпилей. Выглядит замечательно, под стать одному из крупнейших христианских храмов в городе Ливерпуль.
Meanwhile we raced on our double-decker tour bus, we were able to enjoy the views of the Liverpool Catholic Cathedral. The building is decorated with a kind of a “crown” of glass and sharp spires. It looks as great as to match one the largest Christian churches in the city of Liverpool.



Ещё одна достопримечательность изумительной красоты - “St. George’s Hall”. Перед Вами, включённый в список британского наследия, архитектурный шедевр в нео-классическом стиле - один из лучших в мире. Величие массивных гранитных колонн снаружи, а также богатое внутреннее убранство (украшения из сусального золота, мозаичный пол из 30 000 плиток) делают это место обязательным к посещению.
Another attraction of outstanding beauty is a “St. George's Hall”. You are able to see an architectural masterpiece in neo-classical style, included in the list of British heritage, one of the best in the world. The greatness of massive granite columns outside the building along with rich interior decoration (ornaments of gold leaf, mosaic floor of 30,000 tiles) make this place a “must visit”.



Мы успели посетить многие места, но ещё большее количество мест осталось неоткрытыми и неразгаданными. Напоследок скажу, что окунуться в красоту ливерпульских пейзажей нужно как минимум на парочку дней. Причаливайте к берегам реки Мерси, советую делать это весной или летом. Хотя, разве пора года имеет значение, если речь идёт о Великобритании? Ведь в течение одного дня нам чаще всего удаётся почувствовать себя в трёх порах года одновременно.
We managed to visit many places, but even more sightseeing remained undiscovered and unknown. Finally I will say that to plunge into the beauty of the Liverpool landscapes you need at least a couple of days. Moor to the shores of the River Mersey, and I advise you to do it in spring or summer. Although, who cares about the time of the year when it comes to the United Kingdom? Indeed, in one day, we often manage to have three periods of the year at a time.
