Hello everybody! Greetings from England, from the warm autumn delighting with bright colours!


Умеренный британский климат словно нашёптывал мне сегодня модный совет: отдать предпочтение базовым, умеренным, классическим цветам... и отправиться на прогулку в тёплую ноябрьскую осень. И хотя в Великобритании я уже почти полтора месяца, мне порой не верится, что я могу одеть пиджак или блейзер, лёгкую куртку, не кутаясь во множество одежды и шарфов.
Moderate British climate as if whispered to me today’s fashion tips: to give preference to basic, moderate, classic colours ... and go for a walk in the warm November autumn.
Even though I live in the United Kingdom for almost month and a half, sometimes I can not believe that I can wear a jacket or blazer, not being wrapped in a variety of clothes and scarves.


Да, кстати, помимо страстно любимых мне пиджаков, есть масса других вариантов, спасающих нас в непогоду, согревающих и делающих нас ещё красивее. И “болеро” – один из них.
Узнать о “болеро” как можно больше! Чем же увенчались мои поиски? Указать точное время появление данного предмета гардероба, или связать его с именем дизайнера, привившего любовь к нему, не берусь сделать. Зато я расскажу Вам много других интересных фактов, упоминаний о привычной вещи, одевая которую мы и не задумываемся, как, когда и где она появилась. Начнём с того, что “болеро” появилось в обожаемой мною Испании, примерно в XVIII веке.

Oh, and besides the jackets I passionately love, there are plenty of other options protecting us in bad weather, warming and making us more beautiful. By the way “Bolero” is one of them.
To get to know about the “Bolero” as much as possible! What was the end of my search? I do not presume to specify the exact time of occurrence of this closet item, or associate it with the name of the designer. But I will tell you many other interesting facts, references about this familiar garment, wearing which we do not think about the time and way it appeared. Let's start with the fact that the “bolero” appeared in my beloved Spain, approximately in the XVIII century.


Почему я пишу “обожаемой”? А как можно не обожать солнечную Испанию, в которой утро начиналось со свежевыжатого апельсинового сока. Такая простая вещь – стакан апельсинового сока. Но вглядываясь в эту цитрусовую простоту сквозь прозрачное стекло, словно чувствуешь каждую витаминку в стакане. Так начинались мои испанские утренние часы несколько лет назад. Эх, знаю, я немножко отвлеклась от темы. А может и нет, ведь сегодня мы снова встретимся с испанским брендом “Zara”, а прямо сейчас продолжим говорить о “болеро”, которое отправляет нас в Андалусию. Да, прямиком в Андалусию, черпать идеи и вдохновения в мужском гардеробе.
Как это происходило со многими вещами, присутствующими сегодня в женском гардеробе, болеро берёт своё начало в мужской моде. Эта вещь являлась составляющей мужского костюма в окрестностях Андалусии. Помимо мужского костюма явно прослеживается связь болеро с одноимённым танцем и музыкальным жанром. И так же как и песни, какой бы музыкальный жанр они не представляли, состоят из набора нот; так и болеро состоит, а точнее отличается своими характерными чертами.
Прежде всего, это длина чуть ниже груди и множество сходств с женской кофтой, её укороченной моделью. Также отличительной чертой первых болеро было отсутствие рукавов, но сегодняшняя мода задаёт свой тон, внося разнообразие в длину рукавов болеро, в виды отделки воротника, горловины, манжет. Всё лучшее для прекрасных леди. Хотя ранее, когда болеро только начинали проникать в женский гардероб, трудно сказать, что это происходило повально и в больших масштабах. Зато чётко прослеживалась любовь тореадоров, для которых болеро стало частью костюма.


Why did I write “beloved”? How does it possible not to adore sunny Spain, where mornings started with freshly squeezed orange juice. Such a simple thing as a glass of orange juice... But looking at this citrus ease through transparent glass, you as if feel every single vitamin that is in this glass.
That is a way my mornings in Spain were to begin a few years ago. Oh, I know, I'm a little distracted from the topic. But maybe I am not, because today we will meet again with the Spanish brand “Zara”, and right now continue to talk about the “Bolero”, which sends us into Andalusia. Yeah, straight to Andalusia, to draw ideas and get inspiration in the men's closet.

As it happened with many clothes that are present today in the women's closets, bolero originates in men's fashion. This garment is a component of the male costume in Andalusia. In addition to men's suit, here is a clear correlation with the same bolero dance and music genre. And just like the song, no matter what genre of music it represents, consists of a set of notes; and bolero is, or rather has its own characteristic features.

First of all, the length is just below the breast, and it has many similarities with the women's cardigan, I mean its shorter model. Also the distinctive feature of the first bolero was the absence of sleeves, but today's fashion sets its tone, introducing a variety of boleros with long sleeves, as well as diversity in its finishing: the collar, cut of the neck, and cuffs. All the best for the lovely ladies.
Although earlier, when bolero was just beginning to penetrate the female closet, it is hard to say that this was an epidemic and a large scale tendency. But clearly discernible is bullfighters’ love to the bolero, which became a part of their costumes.

Болеро, которое сегодня на мне надето выполнено из добротного кожезаменителя чёрного цвета, имеет длинный рукав и отделку, добавляющую романтичности не только болеро, но и всему образу. Болеро дополняет платье от “Zara”, выполненное в трёх классических цветах: чёрный, коричневый и белый. Какие цвета могут быть более безупречными, более чистыми? Стабильно модными и презентабельными? Они и снова они. В этом платье от “Zara” вне времени не только цветовая гамма, но и модель платья, и материал, из которого оно выполнено. Рукав платья короток, что делает его уместным как в более тёплую, так и более прохладную погоду. Тем более, что платье выполнено из удачного, почти не мнущегося материала, в меру плотного и достаточно лёгкого. Классика, “вне времени” и всегда “ко времени” – самое верное описание этого платья. Верхняя часть платья в меру облегающая, низ платья напоминает трапециевидный силуэт. Это платье сможет удовлетворить требования любого дресс-кода, а может стать прекрасной базой для классического, не перегруженного лишними деталями образа.

Bolero, which I'm wearing today is made of black leatherette, has long sleeves and finishing elements that add romance not only to the bolero, but to the entire outfit as well. All the edges of the garment, starting from the collar, the neck cut, and even a back and cuffs are decorated with lovely assemblies that make bolero incredibly feminine.

Bolero complements a “Zara” dress, performed in three classic colours: black, brown and white. What are the colours that can be more immaculate, cleaner? Stable fashionable and presentable? They are again.
This dress from “Zara” is timeless, and I am talking not only about the colours but also the model of the dress, and the material from which it is made. Short sleeve dress, which makes this dress appropriate both in a warmer and cooler weather. Especially because the dress is made of a successful, almost shrinkable material, which is moderately dense and fairly easy by the same time. Classic, “out of time” and always “at the time” – these are the most accurate descriptions of this dress. The upper part of the dress is quite fitted, the bottom of the dress reminds trapezoidal silhouette.
This dress will be able to meet the demands of any dress code, and can be a great base for creating a classic, not overloaded with unnecessary details outfit.


Давайте поговорим немножко о деталях, и от трапециевидной формы подола платья перейдём к другой части “геометрии” сегодняшнего образа. Почти идентичная чёрно-бело-коричневая “геометрия” сегодня найдётся на сумочке “Atmosphere”. И в этой прекрасной сумке не только базовые цвета, но и базовые, чёткие, лаконичные формы. Достаточно маленькая, но всё же компактная, эта сумка от “Atmosphere” просто создана быть рядом с платьем от “Zara”, дополненное тонким коричневым пояском, тоже от “Zara”.
Эта прекрасная классика словно требовала от меня обуви на высоком каблуке, в одном из представленных цветов, но в более броском и заметном исполнении. Подходящая пара обуви от бренда “New Look” – чёрные туфли на высоком каблуке с закрытой пяткой и носком. Украшены туфельки вплетением золотистых нитей в элементы перфорации. Чертовски красиво и делает этот наряд ещё более шикарным и элегантным.

It is small enough, yet compact; this bag from “Atmosphere” is just created to supplement this dress from “Zara”, with a thin brown belt, also from “Zara” brand.

This lovely classic as if required me to choose high heeled shoes, of one of the colours presented, but in a more noticeable cast and performance. Suitable pair of shoes from the brand “New Look” are black high-heeled shoes with a closed heel and toe. The shoes are decorated with golden threads interweaving in the elements of perforation. Looks beautiful and makes this outfit even more chic and elegant.
